CASE STUDY 1

Pub Beer Festival Supply of stage decks and steps only.
The stage was supplied fully erected on a sloping pub car park. The stage was 6m x 5m which is plenty big enough for a 10+ piece band. Set up time of around 2 hours providing access is good.
The band took their own sound gear to keep the costs down for the pubs beer festival.
The pub supplied the power for the bands sound gear.
Keep in mind this setup is very weather dependent and having electrical gear in the rain doesn’t work so any sign of rain would make this setup vulnerable. In this case all was well with no rain in site.
CASE STUDY 2

At this Steam festival we supplied the sound gear, lighting and sound tec for the weekend.
The organisers supplied the marquee stage and power and organised all of the music acts.
We were given a schedule of the acts and made sure we ran to the times in the schedule swapping acts over as quickly as possible whilst playing some music in between the live acts.
CASE STUDY 3

Football club music festival 1 day event
We supplied the stage with stage cover, lighting, sound gear, sound tec and stage hand.
The organisers arranged all the music acts and supplied the power.
We managed the music side of the event to the schedule, helping bands on and off stage, setting up all the sound gear for each band and making it sound and look as good as possible. A gazebo with sound desk was set up away from the stage to give the sound tec the ability to hear what was being heard from the public. We also supplied cable protectors running along the ground between the stage and the gazebo. This carried the power and data cable for the sound desk whilst protecting the cables from being a trip hazard.
We also had the ability to control the sound desk with an I pad, this allowed us to set up the bands sound levels and monitor mixes whilst setting them up on stage saving valuable time. Running everything with only 1 or 2 people helps to keep the costs down. In this case we used 2 people, the second persons job was mainly to organise the bands so they were ready to get on and off the stage as quickly as possible. At this event it was essential as we were only given 15 mins to swap bands. This is normally not long enough as there is a lot to do swapping bands over with drum kits and guitar amps etc and making them sound good at the same time. But when you are organised it can be done in a short time.
This left the organisers to manage the rest of the event.
Set up time of around a day for the stage and a day for lighting and sound gear.
CASE STUDY 4

This event was almost the same as case study 3, however this was a 2 day event where we took control of the complete organisation of the music part, including organising all of the music acts for 2 areas. We had our full stage set up for one area, a second area where we supplied PA equipment only under a stretch tend supplied by the organisers.
Due to the size of the event we had a fenced off area behind the stage for a car park for the bands as well as an area for bands to set up there gear.
a fence was also put in front of the stage to prevent spectators being to close to the front of the stage.
For the front of house speakers in this situation we used 4 subwoofers under the front of the stage with our main top speakers on each end.
on the stage we had 5 monitors to feed the sound back to the musicians. Microphones were supplied with the option of the musicians using there own if they wish.
lighting was provided by 7 strip LED lights,12 par can LED’s and 6 moving heads. All controlled by a DMX controller.
Power was from a generator from 2x 16 amp sockets.
This again was ran completely with 2 people only.
The stage was 6m x 5m with a 8ft square drum riser.
